2019 Jeanneret Wind Back the Clock Shiraz
It's a new old favourite, going back to our old logo and label for an exclusive new wine.
Jeanneret 2019 Wind Back the Clock Shiraz 239 dollars a dozen (RRP660).
This Shiraz is only available directly from us and is a fine example from an intense vintage. A deep, inky, fruity Clare monster is made the old fashioned way, barrel fermented and 6 years in new American oak.
The watch on the label was made by Ben Jeanneret's grandfather George.
"My grandfather was a master Swiss watchmaker, a man whose craftsmanship was as precise as the delicate mechanisms he worked on. I often wish I could wind back the clock, not only to relive the moments we shared but to watch him at work, his steady hands bringing life to each intricate piece. Skill, patience and attention to detail live on in the things he taught me. The taste and smell of the this wine has the unique power to transport me back in time. Each sip carries the essence of those halcyon days. - Ben Jeanneret"
